Annual First Aid At Work Refresher Course

Three Hour First Aid At Work Refresher Certificated Training Course 

The Health & Safety Executive strongly recommends that all delegates who have completed a First Aid at Work Course, under The Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, carry out a three hour update session annually.

This course will provide delegates with an opportunity to practice and update their skills. Delegates are also able to network and share their ideas and experiences.

Topics covered on the course will include the following:

• Assessing the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency.
• Administering first aid to a casualty who is unconscious (including seizure). 
• Administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Administering first aid to a casualty who is wounded and bleeding. 
• Administering first aid to a casualty who is suffering from shock. 

Following the training delegates will receive an Annual Refresher Course attendance certificate.
